I have seen a few of Bill Ridleys letters over the years, however, I have no idea how long he has been writing.

In regards to comparing NNCI to MSPG, I think he might have been emphazing the fact that NNCI has built itself through positive cash flow, as opposed to debt acquisitions, like some of its peers.

It is possible that me got a bit excited in saying that but the fundamentals of NNCI are what impressed him.
