GADZOOX IPO FAVORABLY HYPED ON NBR:

Paul Kangas had a segment on tonight's Nightly Business Report ( PBS )on the IPO market. He interviewed Scott Reeves, senior IPO correspondent of Bridge News...I observed several key points from the interview:

1. Reeves expects IPO market to remain hot/strong

2. He predicts THE hottest IPO this week ( tomorrow ) will be MP3.COM, followed by Gadzoox ( ZOOX )..I believe the words that he or Kangas used to describe ZOOX was a "screamer". ROFLMAO.

3. The Bridge News IPO analyst and presumably the majority of Wall Street is totally ignorant of "Fibre Channel"/"Storage Area Networks", eg, he described Gadzoox as having special technology to store data "anywhere on the Internet" to which Kangas replied "another hot internet stock" ( or something to that effect ). No mention of FC/SAN. In other words, the ZOOX story is being spread around as an "InterNUT" play and if this is true, what do people think the Wall St spin on ANCR follow-on offering will be??? ROFLMAO

4. Reeves advised investors to wait ( 1-2 months?? )before jumping in on hot IPO's.

>>At first glance of the Brocade press release, I almost fell off my chair. After re-reading the news release couple more times, it is not not what it appears to be <<<

Looks like Brocade pulled out a few of Brenda C's old press releases and tried to imitate the style. They came up way short.I guess you'd file this release under "Vapor release."
