IT's obviously a pr. This guy cook will certainly exercise his options on Aug 1. He's tried everything in the book to pump the stock price but the investors are starting to catch on. This stock will be at 20 in Sept.

His exercise price is $7. Add the 5000 shares purchased in the open market, his cost basis goes up to $7.04 Regards, Tom

Can anyone explain, why a person who has 4.3 million options to by at .01 /share, would buy 5,000 shares in the open market for over 40 ? Nit: the exercise price is $7, not .01. The purchase increases Cook's stake by a massive 0.1%. In other words, it's purely cosmetic.

Two explanations: 1) PR. You do it so some monkeys take it as "insider buying" and try to run the stock up. 2) Pure idiocy. You already have 4.3 million options. What would buying 5,000 shares do of significance to your net wealth? Let's say CUST goes to 90 from 45. That would increase the 4.3 million options in value by $193.5 million. Cook, by buying the 5,000 shares at, say, 45, would be up by $193.7 million instead of $193.5 million. BFD! If I had reduced that to three significant digits, the difference would not even show up.
