I am afraid, Alpine is not coming out a leader in this wave of market movers once again. What is it this time? Maybe the past is coming to haunt this stock. Remember the 97loss, when other service companies where raising money and consolidating in North America, Alpine's hands were tied in Argentina. I dare say that their current purchases do make sense, although I am waiting for something to happen on the other part of the ledger. G
