What's the REAL number? Is it 86 or is it 75?

Taking a stab:

The 'real' number to the outside world (and to the dumber analysts) is .75, which includes the $113MM payoff to the old infra employees to compensate for the loss of their Q stock options, but no other effects of infra operations or any writedowns involved in the sale of the division to E. This already is the number being reported in the press as the 'actual' Q earnings for Q3. Thankfully, it still handily beats the .63 consensus estimates (by ~20%).

The 'real' number to everyone here (and to the brighter analysts) is the .86 pro forma, which the figure all the forward earnings estimates from this moment on will be based upon. This is the 1.20/.60 number that GP said to concentrate on after the Q2 earnings announcement.

Do I have this right?

Morgan--If the "real" number is $0.75, I claim the prize
because I projected $0.77. Truth is that the $0.86 is going forward and compares to $0.60 last quarter.
