ORE MICROSCOPY STUDY RESULTS
FERGUSON LAKE, NUNAVUT, CANADA

Starfield Resources Inc. (“Starfield”) has received results from an ore microscopy study performed on three samples from the Ferguson Lake project's Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-Platinum-Palladium massive sulphide deposit. These samples were taken from core obtained during Starfield's Spring, 1999 drill program. The samples were prepared as polished thin sections which were then analyzed by microscopic and scanning electron microprobe techniques at the Exploration Research Laboratory of Cominco Ltd.

The study indicates that the Platinum-Palladium (“PGM”), Nickel and Cobalt metals are contained in three discreet minerals (Moncheite, Pentlandite and Gersdorfite, respectively). Copper is sourced in chalcopyrite, a copper-bearing sulphide. The Nickel-bearing mineral pentlandite is present as laths and grains developed at pyrrohotite grain boundaries. Moncheite (a Palladium rich PGM mineral) is observed as grains either in pyrrhotite or abutting magnetite grains. Gersdorffite, a cobalt sulphide mineral, is apparently present as fine grains disseminated in pyrrhotite.

The fact that the metals to be recovered have their own discrete mineralogy should bode well for ease of separation and hence higher than average mill recovery rates. The current results are preliminary but Starfield management is pleased with the outcome and additional metallurgical studies are planned to advance the metals recovery phase of the project.

ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Yes I am crazy about this stock.
When you look at the record of this company compared to any other resource ventures it is impressive.
This is the worst mining market I can recall
.It seems that everybody who has a resource based company is turning them into internet opportunities.
Not this one. This company has been able to raise money and drill. To raise money in this market is very tough. When I look at the people that have put money into this deal, these are people that I really respect it tells me something.
What the market wants to see is a long intersection with some higher grades. The market will get what it wants.
The company is going to be drilling the hinge and if the results are what brighter people then me expect them to be ,I believe we will see our little SRU trading between $6.00 to $9.00 by the end of November.
It's my understanding that the company has commitments for the funding of the winter program already. This money can be accessed if we see results comparable to the last ones.

Make no mistake We will see higher grades this time around. Why, because the company is drilling much deeper. They are drilling into the source of all this ore.The west main zone is just a teezer of what is lying below.
To compare this property to Diamond fields is a mistake. This property in my opinion is closer to the Raglan model.

I believe a year from now we are all going to be happy campers.

Regards all.
