Companies are locking down their systems. New purchases are being held up until sometime after the 1st of the year.

YHOO migth be down in the AM, I have frame-relay, cable modem and ISDN backup. YHOO boards have been down since @8:30pm in CT, and other east coast states.

I know Paul, that's why I posted it... it's a fairly lame 'reason' that really doesn't make sense. If anything, Y2K concerns should stimulate the sale of computers and software, IMHO. I can just see them strategzing the call with their CFO: "let's say something about Y2K concerns". Afterwards "they bought that one! ha, ha".

Microsoft is always desperately trying to talk down their future numbers. It's almost an industry joke.
