Friends, It was because I feared personal retaliatory remarks such as those made here that I made my case in impersonal terms. It served to point out the personal nature of the attacks this gentleman is prone to make. I do not for a minute think that he is not hurting, whether from over-investment in CUBE, or for some other reason. Whether he admits it to himself or others is not the point. What is the point is that that hurt is taking the form of anger that he vents on others on this board and elsewhere, and whether or not he stops, he needs to be called on it. On occasion I take things very seriously. One of those occasions is when I am about to speak to another person's faults. I believe the post in question is the first post of any substance I have put on the CUBE thread, and I believe it merited serious attention in its composition. I think there is evidence enough here and elsewhere that I am able to laugh at myself and my faults. I think that the remark that I take myself too seriously is simply an example of the angry personal attacks this person makes on anyone who disputes with him. I do not know what the remark about my overestimating the efficacy of the thread means. Actually, neither this gentleman nor anyone else knows that CUBE is undervalued. One may think that CUBE is undervalued. Now who hasn't been frustrated by the fact that one of their stocks hasn't gone in the direction they wished? The difference here is in the assumption that that frustration is not a problem from within, but one that has been inflicted on one from without. It is to say that one's self is right and everyone who disagrees (the rest of the market) is wrong. Markets are not things of right and wrong. To react to them as if they were is to take them a little too seriously. And doesn't do a damn bit of good. Such a situation for the trader or the investor is nothing more than opportunity, or a time to cut bait. And to think that to say otherwise on these boards will change that is to overestimate their efficacy, and that I do not do.
