I read the "official word" from SI Admin and believe that as much as you believe the list was a joke. We are all entitled to our opinion. I agree that over 300,000 subpoenas is a lot, but then again, it is rumored that TokyoMex is under investigation from the SEC. If true, he could have that many subpoenas. TokyoMex bid his farewells and hasn't posted on SI since June. Anyone know why?

How the heck would SI know anyway?

This is purely conjecture, but the subpoenas could have been served to SI and not the individuals on the list. It's no secret that public message boards such as Yahoo! and SI receive subpoenas that require them to turn over information about certain individuals.
