Measuring the Tornado

I was in a discussion recently in this folder with someone (sorry, but I can't remember who) about measuring the tornado. That person felt we should measure the revenue. I mentioned that we don't have enough breakdown of revenue and I still feel that way.

For me, the essence of Q's gorillaness (for now) is the CDMA usage. The only constant we can measure, and therefore, the only valid measurement is the number of CDMA subscriptions.

Why? Because I said so. (Just kidding.)

Seriously, the Q has many revenue sources related to CDMA usage. At times some resources will move faster than others. Also, some will have higher margins than others. There's a huge mix that can cause deceptive interpretation.

But the one thing that isn't deceptive is world-wide CDMA subscriptions for which we know the Q gets some sort of revenue. After all, the manual says the rate of product adoption is what it's all about. CDMA subscription IS product adoption. Period. No qualifications.
