Larry,

I admit that 300,000 subpoenas is a lot but your logic is flawed. First, companies can file more than one subpoena, for example, for depositions and the actual trial. They can also subpoena the same person more than once for depositions although the person could ask the court to quash them. Second, individuals could subpoena SI or other individuals, and while class action status is a possibility, a lot of stocks could be involved and may not make a single case possible. 300,000 individuals is hardly "every person in the country". Last, while the specific numbers in the list might be a joke, I have no doubt that such a list exists and may even contain some of those names. Whether the list was a joke or real, I'm just glad that my name wasn't on it. lol

<I guess this is the type of thinking that allows one to invest in GUMM or VLNC>

I don't follow VLNC and have no position in the stock. I do follow GUMM and I'm long. It's thinking like mine that has led me to outperform the S&P 500 in my personal account nearly every year since 1991 and significantly outperform the market averages over that period. If you want to take issue with any of the rationale that I have presented with regard to GUMM, please feel free to do so. Otherwise your sarcasm is without merit.

Cheers,

Dan
