QUALCOMM though feels it can deliver on its plans for growth to reach one million hand sets a month despite the component shortages.

For each of the last two quarters, the CDMA phone shipments was "over 1.7 million units." No growth.

What about foundry capacity? Will it be a limiting factor for the ASIC business?
