they use the big boys to drive up their prices this one just happened to be overdone... Actually, I would read this a bit differently...I don't think FSTW was trying to "drive up their prices"...Richard and Roger are longer term thinkers than that. I don't see the long term advantage to FSTW in your accusation. My interpretation is that they simply wanted confirmed that the premier company in the world thought enough of their company to use the product. If you were in sales, you would know that this would have significant value to release to customers & prospects. Furthermore, you have been around long enough to know that this release must have been cleared by MSFT and likely had to satisfy their wordsmithing (no way this gets released without it- why do you think it took so long to get it out?)....May well have not even been allowed by MSFT to release financial details. I know that guys in your line of work are looking for crooks behind each corner, but I think the paranoia gets to one after a while.
