Uncle Eddy is cheerleader Mark Edelstone. The consensus rating system of stocks by analysts on whether to buy/hold/sell is where a strong buy = 1.0 and a sell equals 5.0, therefore a move up from 1.8 to 1.6 means someone upgraded, six analysts with ratings and the 1.6 equals an average of the 6 ratings, I think currently 2 strong buys and 4 buys...

Hope that helps!

MH

richard,

I know MH already posted a response and explained the basic stuff. I opened the report and we now have 2 strong buys and 3 buys ( =(2*1+3*2)/5 = 1.6). Previously we had 1 strong buy and 4 buys ( =(1*1+4*2)/5 = 1.8). They don't identify which analyst changed his/her rating.

An upgrade may not help much right now, but it can't hurt. <G>
