Caxton,

I f Q was priced the same as LU (which is should be) we'd be at 254. LU reported 77 /.26 x 4 = 74 x forward earnings. 74 x 3.44 = 254. hmmm. I didn't take a close look to see if the LU number of .26 was the pro-forma number.

so are you saying that if 2X6 is 12 and LU = 52, QCOM should be worth $300 by Thanksgiving?

If you can't lick them, join them. By the way, I think the thread said go buy tofu futures.

Now if Valueman and Clark stop posting all the facts and figures, it gives me a headache.

Caxton: I thought it was interesting to note that the Q's upside earnings surprise was equal to LU's EPS for the entire quarter.

Last year the Q had great revenue growth without significant margin expansion until late in the year. This year has seen more modest revenue comparisons with unbelievable margin improvements. With handset capacity almost doubling by the end of the year, next year's revenue growth should pick up significantly.
