Greg, Voltaire, Uncle Frank and others--

I really do appreciate your thoughts on this and other threads. Greg M.. . .you do not post nearly enough on this thread.

I'm wondering if you and others could comment on this line of thinking. Here goes:

I believe that there are risks involved in owning internet stocks. However, as the CEO of Softbank recently said in Forbes, the real risk is not being in internet stocks because of the upside potential. I am in his camp. Yet, it is frustrating to see RNWK go down with the slew of good news (the AP alliance is mind-boggling to me). Therefore, I have reached the conclusion that it is best to buy and hold and deal with the shorts that come out of the woodwork on these days by ignoring them as well as the down days themselves. The reason to hold this stock are:

1. You believe that the internet will be a mainstream part of everyone's lives.

2. Streaming audio and video are a natural succession to the first phase of the internet (i.e. PC driven internet usage)

3. Glaser and other management are visionary, cut-throat, and are interested in shareholder value.

I could go on, but these are my main reasons. I hope you guys with a lot more experience and success would read and comment on my thoughts.
I really do learn a lot from you guys.

Thanks
Badger

P.S. Voltaire. . .are you still looking for the split announcement even after the recent fall in the stock?
