Comment or approval? Mary says it's not supposed to be, so maybe it can be refuted/undone. Right!

What continues to impress about IBM's progress is their diversification more towards computer services and software. Technology development is no laggard, either. Apparently, the number of companies that are throwing in the towel on their corporate IT systems development and turning it all over to IBM is increasing. Not that this doesn't make sense, IBM has all the tools. Since this is the Intel thread, can Intel also successfully diversify as well as IBM has? A lot of activity by Intel, hope it's not just flailing. Intel does have more time, as their mainline products are not being perceived as going off the cliff, as IBM's were (but didn't happen) in the early 90's.
