IMO, this is just a predictable blip. If we come in right at the number (MSFT never does that anyways, and we all know it) then we sell of pretty hard. If they come in 7 pennies or more over, then we get a moderate pop in the stock. If they come in a few pennies over (like they did) then some of the fluff blows off, a few points.

As far a the future, it's very good, there's a copy of Windows in every box whether it's an Emachine or a high end Dell. And Office 2000 is going to be everywhere, Explorer is going to be the most commonly used intranet browser. Plus MSFT has their tentacles everywhere, including cable.

And forget about Linux, it's a good piece of software, but a bit player at best. Netscape? same thing. Any Competitors for Office? not hardly.
