Wow, what a market! My feeling was, if the selling in MSFT is intense, it means the market is determined to sell off. So, I left my shorts in place, and added new shorts. On the other hand, in my regular - long term portfolio that I don't trade (stuff like MSFT, PFE etc) is REEEEED!!! Man, blood in the streets. I wonder if this is the beginning of a correction. Even QCOM turned down. Profit taking at a certain point can deteriorate into a market correction. The summer rally is sputtering.

RE: I am concerned about this game they play with the street, however, and how it is starting to prey on investor sentiment.

Do you believe this "game" is played by many listed companies? Or is MSFT an exception?

Being a long term MSFT share holder it doesn't bother me.
