Blue,

Someday, the World will get tired of information not being provided to everyone on a real-time basis. When it's information that potentially impacts the public markets, I would think investors have a right to know. Media Metrix could update their Web page first and then circulate the new rankings (avoiding rumors and possible confusion). Why should some people know and not others?
