Brian "blood in the streets" - I'm referring to today. Naz down by 80+ points is 'blood in the streets' to me.

BK -

The market raising part of earnings season now ends just after a week into the new season. After that the market is vicious and stocks tank for about 9/10 weeks. this happened in Feb and in May/June of this year.

Todays drop is the one that traps most people into not selling. What we will probably get now is a daly drop in the Naz of about 1% to 2% for the next six to eight weeks interspaced with a few up days just to keep peoples intrest alive. Then about a week or so before the nd of September if we are lucky, there will be renewed buying interest once again.

In the meantime my guess is that MSFT will be below $80 in a week or so. It might get to near its peak again sometime next year depending on what other aggravation gets the market spooked in the meantime.

Seems to me that a ggod part of the investment community sit there with hair triggers and sell at the slightest excuse.

Best regards,

L
