For the six months ended June 30, 1999, Biomatrix reported net income of $11.0 million or $0.45 per diluted share, on revenues of $41.8 million. This compares with net income of $1.9 million or $0.08 per diluted share, on revenues of $17.2 million posted in the six-month period of 1998. The company generated $34.6 million in product sales during the six months ended June 30, 1999, compared with product sales of $13.8 million recorded during the comparable period in 1998.
