I guess you're the one who looks like the idiot today! I'm laughing so hard that I might wet my pants. As to the question of shorts, you don't have to maintain any margin on your short but you cannot take out any of the proceeds of the sale until it comes back to trade or the SEC deems that the stock will not trade again.
