<OT>

Your right on the used car business and there's more!

quotes.freerealtime.com

Noting that UPCA is a BB stock and the press release is out of Las Vegas where the company is HQ'd. The only thing I can say is what the Black Jack dealer tells me...."Good Luck"

Regards,
Jim

ot, yes and they're going to have a garage sale on used laboratory equipment to pay for continued research. I think they'll clean the used test tubes before they're sold; not certain.

If it's not a cure, they can always market it as a vitamin supplement.

that's it - Dell needs to go into the online auctionable vitamin supplement business - (along the same lines with arthur!). Now this is vision!

Mohan: Who do these Fund Managers think they are? They seem to be selling everything tech related except some of today's highly anticipated IPOs. I was hoping Schwab would allocate me some ZOOX shares but I guess I was wrong....that's where the easy money is now <G>....nothing like data storage network stocks -- buy at $20 and hit over $80 on day one....look at BRCD since it has gone public -- very similar....Oh well...I am sitting tight and even have some extra cash ready for some special buying opportunities -- in fact there are SO MANY of them now its hard to choose..!!

Nothing like an IRRATIONAL market for some mid-summer entertainment.

Best Regards,

Scott

**OT** RE: UPCA
Actually they are a holding company. They do seem to have a lot of used car holdings, but they also picked up a stake in a company which is doing AIDS research and has actually had good results in Spain. I don't follow that work too closely but this may not be all hype. As with any research, the real story will be years in coming.

Mohan,

<OT> The SEC stopped trading on UPCA this morning till at least Aug 4.....flush. Don't even think about what a short it might have been...there is a UPCA thread and they report no shares available for shorting....

Regards,
Jim
