YHOO is holding its own. AMZN is bound to tank anyways because of the after the fact sell off. YHOO is poised to go up and its showing it today. Could this be the '99 summer crash a little early??? who knows!

Hi Steve. The Bolinger bands are narrowing (good sign) and the Williams % R on YHOO's chart indicates a near term oversold (-90...max value is -100). A short term bounce would seem likely however, I don't like the technicals on this stock. I'm certainly not an expert, but it seems to still be in a downtrend, with intermittent rally attempts.

My best guess would be a near term bounce, simply due to the oversold RSI and williams % R. However, i'd flip this puppy and wouldn't commit to any position longer than intraday, in my very humble opinion, of course :) YHOO is below its 50 dma and fast approaching its 200dma. Since it not far from its 200 dma (a couple points) and oversold short term, its a decent bounce play. One small positive is that the selling is still occuring on below average volume. Some may not feel this is significant, but I am of the opinion that the net stocks have already shaken out the weak hands (longer term perspective). Therefore, new $ coming in, will undoubtedly have a different viewpoint since this stock is essentially now unchanged for the year. I have no open position in it yet, but will be watching. Best of luck.

Regards,
SH
