I could never quite figure out about Mary either, although they do have a love of campaigning in common. He is so fiercely partisan it should be intolerable. I think that you are wrong about his attractiveness, though. He is odd looking, but it is in a masculine, large featured, hawk- like way that can work for some people, I suspect. Also, although Mary is cute enough, she is kind of borderline, and probably needs her make- up...Still, I hope the kids favor her, too....
