I thought it was the manufacturing that would start 90 days before rollout, not the advertising.

Frankly, I am not a big fan of most media advertising, as it is rarely focused enough. Iridium wasted millions putting ads in magazines.

As John Wanamaker (Philadelphia department store magnate) once said, "I know 50% of my advertising is wasted. The only problem is I don't know which 50%."

When very targeted direct mail programs are considered successful if they get a 1-2% response, that tells me the real advertising waste percentage is probably closer to 99%. There has gotta be a better way.
