I, too, am retired and looking for conservative investments while open to investments for good return.
Did not do well in Y2K stocks!!!!

JDN,

Just checking in. Don't have time to get into it but I'll be back tonight or tomorrow to talk about a more volatile NUT stock; Go2Net (GNET). For the few of you who may not know, GNET is who bought out SI. There's another, and you know who I mean, but rather than appear to hype, I'll discuss it when I have time.

Gotta run but wanted to say hi and glad you got this thread going. I had visions of going through withdrawls without reading or talking to my TOPRO buddies as I no longer recognize THAT other, soon-to-be foreign company.

JDN,

Ditto on your thoughts on the inuts. The only difference is I went with ORCL. Today stunk but I'm in at an average of just under 24.50
so I can't complain.

JDN,

I'm happy to see you have taken the effort to keep the old group together. Who knows, maybe sosiak will make an appearance. I would love to hear his views on TAVA's demise.

This is not a stock tip but a link to a tool that many may find useful. It has some powerful charting, screening and research functions. Best of all, it's free.
