Good question, and one that I am trying to figure out! <G> FM Email I just got - Matt, I printed out that "press release" about UPCA and showed it to several of the Ph.D's here. "Here" being a hospital and these guys work with cancer patients -- maybe some aids pts., not sure. However, every one of them said it just didn't sound right -- that wasn't the way it was done. Plus one even said what I said to you --- he'd definitely win a Nobel Prize and be rich, why isn't he calling press conferences, etc. Also, someone said that there were only five patients - not enough for a conclusive study. And, everything written in the press release was extremely vague. These people I talked with do a LOT of research on their own -- not related to AIDS, but, still they know how research is SUPPOSE to be done. You gain a little knowledge and then start publishing papers on what you're researching. I guess there's always the outside possibility this may be true. Just think if it is!! I just won't bet on it!!
