Legendary Who Bass Player Returns to Woodstock for 30th Anniversary Performance

John Entwistle is One of Only Two Performers at Woodstock '99 Who Took
Part in the 1969 Festival

WILTON, Conn., July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- J-Bird Music Group (OTC Bulletin Board: JBRD - news) is proud to announce that the John Entwistle Band has just now been added to the 1999 Woodstock Music Festival lineup and is scheduled to perform Sunday, July 25 at 3:10 PM. This marks the return of one of rock music's most legendary musicians to the festival that helped solidify his former band's place in rock history thirty years ago. Now, with a new band, Entwistle is ready to expand his legendary status in front of a whole new crowd. The rest of the band, Steve Luongo (drums, vocals), Godfrey Townsend (guitars, vocals) and Gordon Cotten (keyboards, vocals) will prove they are more than worthy of sharing the stage with ''The Ox.''

Entwistle comments, ''I'm happy to be doing what I've been doing for the last thirty years and come back to Woodstock to do it better than the first time. Actually, I don't think I ever left the place.''

The John Entwistle Band has been busily touring intimate venues in the Northeast in support of their J-Bird Records debut release, Left For Live, which is in stores now and available at jbirdrecords.com.
