Well, I guess...my last board had a jumper for soft pwr. I've been in CMOS pwr management...no real help...I got it to turn off after holding pwr button 8 seconds...rediculous! I still get incorrect shut down thru windows procedure. I started having other video problems...It also didn't like 2 of my pc100/64 ram...I'm opting for another brand. I talked w/ support they said they had similar problems. I took out all but one video card and still had problems...I guess it's possible I have a bad board no real way to check? I'm wondering if it's the chipset technology? etc....Now I'm sure I won't be jumping into anything w/ rdram anytime soon....nor the K7

It appears my choices are: comments welcome...

2theMax MVP 3G-M
BCM MVP/GVC VP 1541
epox EP-MVP-36-M
Gigabyte GA-5AX my choice...I think my distributor quite carrying?
Microstar MS-5169

for those reading...I've been installing a K6III/450 on FIC PA 2013 2.0
