Quite a haircut of a day but my value stocks were only down 2%. I suspects others fared worse. Now I'm in the market for plummeting high fliers. If this continues I'll be looking at top quality nets and drugs maybe. CMGI, INKT and RNWK. More SDTI, WIND and T. Maybe some WGAT.

Just hoping this thing turns around soon - sweat, sweat - but in my experience it always does and a day like today usually means a selling climax. It also means Greenspan is less likely to say anything harmful to the market on Thursday when he speaks.

So far so good on today's buys of CPQ, VTSS and EGRP. Held where I bought them.

All in all could have been a lot worse for me. hang in there everyone. All part of the fun.
