Because their margins are unreasonably high right now.
Translated: they are ripping consumers off - notably at the high end.
I would love to see their margins on the high end stuff - if 60% is overall margins and 20% of the biz is non MPU and likely much lower margins overall, then that implies that their high end business in MPU's likely has margins well north of 70%. And that is bordering on ludicrous.
This is not good for anyone save Intel's shareholders.
