this is absolutely majorly serious. the notional value of the derivatives on the books of the japanese banks is more than four times japan's GDP. the disaster potential is mind boggling.

yea, I've been hearing that kind of stuff. I am out of Japan until I see what happens here. Only long gold shares and poots right now (and that has been a real loser for some time) -g-
