Tom, Ron It appears that Gilder, Gagnon, Howe & Co. is
an investment firm in New York City.
See last paragraph of this link --
lafayette.edu

From reading one of George Gilder's articles, I believe that
GG lives in western Massachusetts.
Doesn't sound like the same George.

Also, in all fairness, I should say that NOPT is included in GG's
July list of "Telecosm Technologies";
and the following quote is from the end of that table --
"Note: This table lists technologies in the Gilder Paradigm, and representative companies that possess the ascendant technologies. But by no means are the technologies exclusive to these companies. In keeping with the objective of providing a technology strategy report, companies appear on this list only for these core competencies, without any judgement of market price or timing."

Therefore, I would say (as a new subscriber to the letter) -- If we choose to run up this, or any stock, solely because it is listed as one of GG's Telecosm Technologies, we do so at our own risk and should be responsible for our own
actions.

Mardy.

Tom, i don't have the tools to find this out
but
to whom would one suppose private sales of NOPT stock went from;

CMP 282,023 shares?
NU 217,977 shares?

wsrn.marketguide.com

and why?
is this related to billions CMP received from US taxpayers on NUKES?
