Re: "AMD is currently 0 for 2. Even in baseball you get three strikes before you're out."

AMD is on first having been hit in the head by a fastball from the big unit.

Re: "AMD has, from time to time, had many very profitable non-x86 businesses using their own non-Intel design."

And your fearless leader trashed those product lines to finance his personal vendetta against the evil empire.

kev, Don't look for Intel to proceed with Merced untill Intel can copy AMD chip design off the K-7. Intel's chip design capabilities are so rusty they can't possibly make any progress on there own. They got some help from HP but the hp work is done and now the Intel work is bogged down... Look for Intel to copy k-7 from AMD.

RE: " When you become biased to the point of zealotry there's probably no longer any point in reasoning with you. AMD has never done anything right, and they never will, and IT'S ALL JUST JERRY SANDERS FAULT! WHINE WHINE WHINE!"

Jerry Sanders and AMD are heathen! They are beyond redemption!
