Blue and All who have commented today....What a wonderful day...and every emotion felt....Blue your Apollo story brought tears, and memories for all, I'm sure....and "Our Friends the Dogs", stories simply great!! This is better than TV or the movies... Our ole' golden retriever Yankee was a dear, dear friend....especially if we were sick...he was always there....He finally, after 16 1/2 years, left us for the old hunting ground in the beyond.....and sent us Prince the Papillion...a total Beau Brummell, and a clown on top of it! I sure do like dogs. And I think that 8-year-old is just glad his buddy is ok...and that's good enough for me.
