Perhaps. But my experience has been that such price movements with stocks such as ELNK can only be explained by the market makers exploiting the situation. Here is what happens, the stock comes down steadily over a period while the overall market is flying high. Then on the day market goes down big time all of a sudden the stock goes up! This, and believe me I have seen this so many times it is sickening, is only a manipulation by market makers to pull as many suckers as they can into the stock on a down day. Only to dump the next or the day after.

By artificially pushing the price up on a down day, they intend to provide an illusion among small players that there is something up. Once they have the attention of small players, they end to their pump and dump tactic in a big way.

But who knows, there may in fact be something going on. I sure hope so, but I personally think it is simply a pump and dump tactic for the time being and in the immediate short term.
