As far as I'm concerned "Mom and Dad" have done an outstanding job!

Congratulations to the team.

But of course, I think we get a bit of the credit too. <VBG>

Has anybody looked into the mm numbers further, I'm wondering if gnet is seeing incremental increase in hits or is some other site declining in some way? 20% in this period is quite a move. I will look but if someone else has already done this, please post.

One thing I found out from the yahoo cc is that media metrix has some work to do in improving their sampling methods. They don't track international (unless it comes in on a US homepage) or corporate intranet sites. The intl won't affect gnet because they don't have regionals but the intranet problem with mm sampling probably does affect gnet negatively (whereas disney etc. benefit)

BTW the analysts and fund mgrs on cnbc were calling this a one or two day sharp correction in the techs (likely to be followed by further advances)... the caviat is there is an excess inventory problem with the dot com stocks
