And don't forget the pocket protectors! IBM Brat #2 checking in,
I still have a brown leather "THINK" pad in my attic somewhere, long ago I realized it was special and kept it for some odd reason.

That word "THINK" was spoken to me many times while struggling with my math homework with my personal math tutor, good old Dad. After a full day at work in the corporate world, when he probably just wanted to snooze in front of the TV, he would sit down with the math books and keep working on it until I understood. No wonder I aced math for years. And when he got annoyed that I wasn't paying attention or trying hard enough, he would sternly say THINK!! I believe he got a kick out of that, having heard it all day long at work.

Time to bring that slogan back if you ask me. Fits well with the times we are in.

And in response to the comment's about man's best friend, isn't it amazing how they seem to know if you are feeling down about something and they try to comfort you? Amazing. Mine's sound asleep on her back right next to my desk. Silliest thing you've ever seen : )
lots of 909s for us
Susan

Speaking of IBM, I saw a great show on PBS (I think) last night concerning IBM's contribution to code-breaking in WW-II. IBM did a great deal to turn the tide in the war (especially in the Pacific).

909's,
