Brazil leads Internet transactions in Latin America São Paulo, 20 - Brazil leads the volume of transactions carried out by physical persons over the Internet, with a stake of 80% in Latin America, Jorge Becerra, vice president and director at Boston Consulting Group said. "Our survey was conducted in major cities like São Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Santiago de Chile, which represent nearly 90% of businesses carried out in Latin America," he said. According to Becerra, banks boosted Internet in Brazil as they began to offer services over the Web.
