When I wrote,

>>>Though I must agree that the "insufferability index" is at an all time high and entering overbought territory with a dramatic increase in the S/N ratio and a projected precipitous decline in "yield." Analysts recommend shorting certain posters...er, uh stocks in the index on both ends of the spectrum due increasing instability on the fringes. They also suggest ignoring any declarations on the part of the equities involved without adequate data to back-up company claims.<<<

I was attempting to be oh so clever and subtle. As I said later the exercise was obviously lost on some people.

When I wrote "on both ends of the spectrum" and on the "fringes" I truly meant that--"polly" and "doomer" alike. If it's not condescending snottiness based on hubris, it's maniacal raving. If it's not juvenile name calling, it's foul language.

I really do suggest some of you start your own threads or visit others more often. My suspicion is that like Hype, Scam, Hoax, Fraud many of you simply won't have much to say to each other because the ability to hold a discussion is one you never had in the first place. Prior to the recent arrival and return of certain "personalities" this was for the most part a decent thread. I certainly can't say that any longer. (There was a time when the difference between SI and Yahoo was that $200 would keep out the riff-raff. Ahhh, the good ol' days.)

For those of you simply too lazy to do the administrative work to start a new thread, I'm sure there will be a plethora within the next 2-3 mos. as FUD reaches new highs--plenty enough to go around for everyone.

I'm going on vacation.
