Not disappeared, but pardonlessly ignored by Intel
because they decided to go after PC world dominance
and become a monopoly. The PC industry had
no choice, and military gave up on the
"requirement". Yes, Intel have decided to
shit over everybody, and does this ever since.
In present tense. You are correct about the tense.
