Who knows, we may well look back on the Zenit failure and IRID's woes as the best thing that could have happened to G*. And I'll wager a bet that ICOGF won't get off the ground with meaningful financial backing until G* is proven a success and G*'s head start will be just that much further along. Hopefully they won't suffer from that age- old disease, "premature rollout-ulation".

Question for the Rocket Scientist(s) on the thread:
VOD/ATI has fairly extensive paging coverage in the northeast, etc where they don't have cellular coverage. Given the advent of two-way paging, is there any possibility that this paging network could be used to transmit cellular calls, (with Globalstar backup of course,)?
