<<agree on buying half right away>>

I didn't want to barge in on your conversation, however, Qcom seems to be a little overpriced in the short term. I bought 165 puts today, just for a short trade.
Simple reasoning:

1. Market rebounds. In this scenario people take profits in QCOM to buy other fallen angels.

2. Market goes even lower, People take profits just to lock into them.

If you are a long-termer, you'll be fine buying at any price. However it has almost tripled in the last three month, and folks out there have a lot of profit, which has not been taken yet.

Someone was buying ahead of the Sprint anouncement today. Tomorrow things may reverse.

Good luck.
