Is production to fault, or something else like motherboard availability?

I don't know if I got GOOD info, but it seems I got the SAME info as you got.

I'm sure the AMDroids will have a good spin that this indeed is NOT a SLIP but allows AMD to build many more millions of athLATES for their eager and hungry customers.

Steve,
RE:"Interesting information has been passed along from sources to your truly.
While I was sitting on an Athlon availability date of AROUND August
3rd, recent data suggests a 'slip' to middle to late August.

Steve

PS. Paul I post this in reply to you since someone said you had been
mentioning this 'slip'. It looks like you got good info ;)

Actually one doesn't really need information to predict AMD. As a matter of fact, inside information is a hinderance.
They key is...just add about 2 months to an AMD release date and viola! You're about on time. Also, just predict when someone say 2H
release figure June 30 plus a couple of months. Or second Half...just figure December 31 plus a couple months.
In the case of Merced, add a couple years. In the case of NSM PCOAC,
just figure, manana baby...
