Scumbria Re <<How will 1,000,000 K7's in Q4 impact your party?>>

I think the right question is that how will 1,000,000 K7's in Q4 will impact AMD's revenues and earnings? Now that is something me and every other investor would want to know.

1,000,000 at ASP of $260.00 should significantly boost the over all ASP's and keep the looses below $50 million or even lower. What is your guess?

Mani

Scumbria,

Re: 1M Athlons in Q4

Get real.

These idiots will produce 1M AThlons and maybe 250K motherboards in Q4.

This current MB fiasco is unbelievable!!!

They could not even seed 100K Mb's at $25 each this quarter to get a decent launch going.

Thats an expenditure of less than $25M to ensure availability.

These idiots can't get anything right.

I get the feeling the Athlon launch will not really happen for another month at the earliest.

No wonder Atiq quit in disgust.

Regards,

Kash.

SCUMbria - Re: "How will 1,000,000 K7's in Q4 impact your party?"

That depends on how many of those 1,000,000 K7's remain UNSOLD by the end of the year - 300,000 or 400,000 or 600,000...
