Mark- good to know that someone on board listens.
I did not deal with Wit, because of poor execution and only limited 100 shares and limited
net returns.
I spent all day at my brokers, learned a great deal about IPO's,bought 1000 shares of
ENGA 30 seconds after it opened for $30 per share at a total commission cost of $10.75
and so far I'm up about $14,000 on a day that Naz is down a record 98 points or so.
Looking at the one day chart and the progression of buy orders and looking for a recovery
in Naz in near future (the net story is a heck of a lot broader than a poor outlook for
Mfst,Lu,or IBM),
I will watch Enga very closely (not planning on flipping it tomorrow) with a target at a bare
minimum of a double ($60 or net $30,000 for my position.
I'm also considering a longer term hold if I feel that Enga is responding like
Doubleclick,E-bay etc. with a 6-8 months goal of $80-$140( a 3 or 4.5x bagger)
I'm too independent to put up with BS and poor procedures, but can recognize a good
deal when I see one and can figure out how best to efficiently use my DD time to max. out
my returns over time. I can provide more details ,if there is real interest. I telegraphed my
moves on this board and spent all day at the brokerage house ( got a free lunch). Part of
the reason I went to this trouble is that CMGI will bring out a number of good IPO's,and I'd
like a clue on how best to play them. I learned how they are priced, when,at what
times,trading ranges,etc.
Good Hunting

I had a great experience with Wit and CMGI on this ENGA thing. But isn't it amazing that a company predicated on the web, requires so many instructions in writing? I wanted them to take my husband's email address of the account and they couldn't do that unless it was in writing. Kind of an anachronism--
