There is a lot of focus on Bob's model now that the market valuation is so high. Unfortunately, I don't think that any model can quantitatively address international political shocks, such as a conflict between Taiwan and China. We learned as much in October 1998, with the Asian Flu, when the market dropped twice as much as Bob's model predicted because of the international uncertainties.

In case anyone faked out by New Mexico appearance last night Bob is ON Moneytalk this weekend. So far made the important point that the highs put in on July 16th MAY possibly prove to be the general area of a developing top, too early to say anything definitively. He does expect there may be some movement back toward that general area as part of that topping process. He sounds wary that the prerequisites to a change in market direction may be developing(my interpretation of his words) I wonder if I should play this cute and close out my hedge for a nice profit and wait for the word to take full action when the time comes
