Go to the company's website www.qualcomm.com
read the last annual report
listen to the last three conference calls
look at its products and read the rest of the site
look at the chart since january 1, 1999
if you still don't understand the company read the thread starting at october 1998

Q will easily double within 12 months. This company is awesome and not only its ability to grow earnings percentage wise, but the number itself is definitely awesome. I think that it will make $4 for next year, which brings its forward PE to 40, pretty cheap for an awesome growth issue still kind of in infancy.

This is definitely a safer and better investment than MSFT, and of course, AOL, which is a fine company, but an overvalued POS stock price per se.

good luck,
larry
